Purpose
The purpose of AM scholarship is to recognize and reward the academic achievements of Moreno & Associates employee’s second generation. This scholarship, valued at $500.00, is intended to provide financial support to eligible students as they pursue their education.
Armando Moreno is the late father of Moreno & Associates, Inc. founder Ernesto Moreno.
After graduating Suma Cum Laude from San Jose State University in 1958, Armando spent his 35-year career as an educator and administrator. He believed that higher education was imperative to the improved personal, social, and economic development of an individual. Armando’s life was spent working hard to provide not only for his two children, but also for the next generation of Latino students opportunities through education.
Eligibility

Parent or Guardian Employed With Moreno
You or your parent/ guardian must be a current employee in good standing at Moreno & Associates, Inc.

High School or College Student
You must be in high school or college in order to receive the scholarship.

3.0 GPA or Higher
You must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in order to qualify for this scholarship.

Renewable Annually
You may re-apply annually for this scholarship as long as you maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher and your parent/ guardian are employed with Moreno & Associates, Inc.
